Starting from 00:00 on July 1, 2025, the national railway will implement the train schedule for the third quarter of 2025. The reporter learned from the Beijing Railway Bureau that after the timetable adjustment, the travel time from Beijing to Shenyang has been shortened by 15 minutes, the accessibility of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei hub has been expanded, and the commuting efficiency of short distance trains around Beijing has been further upgraded. The passenger and freight transportation capacity, service quality, and operational efficiency have been further improved.
This map adjustment further optimized the layout of the "Beijing Tianjin Hebei" railway transportation network on the track. Add one pair of high-speed trains from Tianjin West to Yuncheng North through map adjustment, to support innovative cooperation and coordinated development between Shanxi Province and the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region; The operation of evening morning to sleeper trains between Beijing Fengtai and Chengdu East, Beijing Fengtai and Guiyang North, Taiyuan South and Shenzhen North (passing through Yangquan North, Shijiazhuang, etc.) provides new options for passengers and businesses along the route; Add 1 pair of high-speed trains from Hohhot East to Yangzhou and 1 pair of express trains from Mudanjiang to Hangzhou, connecting the north and south, and linking the hubs, further serving regional economic synergy and the booming development of cultural and tourism markets.
The new map fully considers the passenger flow and travel needs of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei metropolitan area, and further improves the short distance train operation plan around Beijing. China Railway Beijing Bureau has increased the frequency of train stops at some stations around Beijing, adding G8923/6 trains from Langfang North to Beijing West, T5603/4 trains from Beijing to Qinhuangdao, and weekend commuter trains such as Beijing Fengtai Hengshui K7721 and Zhuozhou Beijing Fengtai K7726, to facilitate short distance travel and commuting passengers along the line.
At the same time, in order to meet the high passenger flow demand for commuting between Beijing and Tianjin, 24 pairs of high-speed trains on the Tianjin West to Beijing Daxing peak line have been added to serve the travel needs of residents in Daxing District and surrounding areas, alleviate the pressure of Beijing South Station's Beijing Tianjin intercity train operation, and further improve the transportation convenience and efficiency between Beijing and Tianjin.
After the implementation of the timetable adjustment on July 1st, the Fuxing high-speed train on the Beijing Shenyang section of the Beijing Harbin high-speed railway can operate at a high standard speed of 350 kilometers per hour on a regular basis. This marks the opening of another safety standard demonstration line after the Beijing Tianjin intercity railway and the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway, and is also the first high-speed railway demonstration line in Northeast China with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After the completion of the safety standard demonstration line for the Beijing Shenyang section of the Beijing Harbin high-speed railway, the travel time between Beijing and Shenyang has been reduced to 2 hours and 29 minutes, which is 15 minutes shorter than the current fast trains and significantly improves transportation efficiency. The benchmark trains of the Beijing Harbin high-speed railway have been extended to start and end at Beijing West Station, achieving new improvements in the transportation capacity and service quality of high-speed trains entering and leaving Beijing in the Northeast region.
China Railway Beijing Bureau continues to optimize the operation plan of cross bureau freight trains, adding 2 express freight trains from Nanjing East to Zhoulizhuang, 4 general express multimodal transport trains from Zhongding Logistics Park to Xingangbei, and 2 inter bureau general express intercity trains from Shijiazhuang West, Shijiazhuang South, Dezhou to Xingfu Town, to reduce social logistics costs and help stabilize and smooth regional industrial and supply chains and promote the development of the real economy.
The railway department reminds that after the adjustment of the schedule, the operation and service information of passenger and freight trains can be queried through railway 12306, 95306 websites, clients, WeChat and other channels, or by following the dynamic information released by various railway departments and announcements from major railway stations, in order to arrange travel and freight transportation matters reasonably.
