1. General-purpose container, also known as dry container: mainly used for shipping miscellaneous goods, usually used for shipping cultural goods, daily necessities, medicine, textiles, handicrafts, chemical products, hardware and electrical, electronic machinery, instruments and machine parts, etc. This type of container accounts for 70-80% of the total number of containers.
2. Reefer container: divided into internal and external types. The temperature can be adjusted between -28℃ and +26℃. The internal type of container can start the refrigeration unit freely during transportation to maintain the specified temperature, while the external type relies on the refrigeration unit equipped on the container-specific truck, ship, and dedicated yard or station. This type of container is suitable for transporting butter, chocolate, frozen fish, condensed milk, margarine, and other items during the summer.
3. Open-top container: This type of container has no top and can be loaded and unloaded from the top using a crane. During transportation, the top is covered with waterproof cloth, and its water tightness requirements are the same as those of dry cargo containers. It is suitable for loading large and tall objects such as glass plates.
4. Flat rack container: This type of container has no top and sides, and the loading and unloading are carried out from the side of the container. It is mainly used for transporting overweight cargo and is also suitable for loading livestock and naked cargo such as steel that can be exempt from outer packaging.
5. Livestock container: This type of container has a metal mesh on the side for good ventilation and easy feeding. It is a special container designed for transporting live animals such as cattle and horses.

7. Platform container: similar to a railway flatcar, it is suitable for loading overweight and oversized cargo. Its length can reach more than 6 meters, width more than 4 meters, height about 4.5 meters, and weight can reach 40 tons. Two platform containers can be connected to load 80 tons of goods, making it very convenient to transport cars using this type of container.
8. Ventilated container: the container wall has ventilation holes, and the inner wall is coated with a plastic layer, suitable for loading heat-sensitive and stuffy goods such as fresh vegetables and fruits.
9. Insulated container: the container has an insulation layer inside, and the top of the container has an air inlet and outlet that can adjust the angle to regulate the temperature inside the container using external air and wind direction. When tightly closed, it can be unaffected by external temperatures for a certain period of time. It is suitable for transporting temperature and humidity-sensitive goods.
10. Bulk cargo container: generally equipped with 2-3 small hatches on the top for loading goods. There is a lifting platform at the bottom that can be raised to a tilt angle of 40° for unloading. This type of container is suitable for loading bulk cargo such as grain and cement. If phytosanitary inspection is required, the container can also be fumigated and washed inside.
