Since the beginning of this year, China's international air cargo routes have continued to increase. As of April 30th, 75 new international air cargo routes have been opened.
According to the Air Logistics Branch of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, a total of 17 new international air cargo routes were opened nationwide in April. As of April 30th, 2025, a total of 75 new international freight routes will be opened nationwide, with more than 162 round-trip flights added each week. The heading structure is mainly based on Asia and Europe. Specifically, there are 35 Asian routes, 31 European routes, 6 North American routes, 2 South American routes, and 1 African route. The cargo structure mainly consists of cross-border e-commerce goods, fresh goods, electronic products, and automotive parts.
Experts say that while the United States is wielding the baton of tariffs and disrupting the international trade order, China continues to promote high-level opening up to the outside world, continuously optimize trade channels, strengthen ties with the world market, and become an important economy for stabilizing the world economic order in an uncertain international economic environment.
