       The first China Europe rail air intermodal train in the country has been operating efficiently for 10 days since its departure from Guangzhou International Port in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area on April 18th. It has shipped a total of 3 trains, transported over 3000 tons of goods, and the entire journey has been controlled within 7 days.

       The newly opened China Europe rail air intermodal train adopts a new transportation mode of "domestic railway+international aviation". The goods are assembled from the Greater Bay Area and transported by railway for 66 hours directly to Sanping Station in Xinjiang. They are then transferred to Urumqi International Airport and then transferred to cargo flights to Europe. Compared with the traditional road to air transportation model, the efficiency is increased by more than 30%, and the comprehensive logistics cost is reduced by more than 10%.

       Ning Zan, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Railway Logistics Center, introduced that through optimized scheduling, the railway transportation time from the Greater Bay Area to Xinjiang has been shortened from 72 hours to 66 hours, and efforts will be made to further compress it to within 60 hours in the future. The railway trunk line has strong stability and is not affected by weather and road congestion. At the same time, the integrated security check avoids opening boxes for re inspection during the journey, and the cargo damage rate has significantly decreased, "Ning Zan said.

       Among the 3000 tons of goods transported by the train in the past 10 days, high value-added categories such as electronic products, smart home appliances, and cross-border e-commerce packages account for over 70%, effectively meeting the urgent order needs of European customers.
