The Sanya Jinan Seoul route has officially opened, adding a new air channel to Hainan

      On August 1st, Shandong Airlines Flight SC8006 landed smoothly at Sanya Phoenix International Airport, marking the official opening of the "Sanya Jinan Seoul" route. This route connects Hainan Free Trade Port, Qilu Cultural District, and Seoul Metropolitan Area, providing an efficient and convenient air passage for passengers from the three regions and further expanding the connectivity network between China and South Korea.

      It is reported that the route is operated by Shandong Airlines with B737 aircraft, with one flight per day. The departure flight number is SC8005, departing from Sanya at 15:10 every day, stopping in Jinan, and arriving in Seoul at 21:40; The inbound flight number is SC8006, returning from Seoul at 07:45 every day, stopping in Jinan, and arriving in Sanya at 14:10.

      To ensure the smooth operation of the new route, the Sanya Airport Customs under Haikou Customs has coordinated with airlines, relevant port departments in Jinan, and other parties in advance to provide guidance on the entire process of flight registration and transportation vehicle declaration. Empowered by technology, optimize the passenger clearance process, implement "early machine inspection" for inbound checked baggage and "one-time inspection" for outbound baggage, strengthen "intelligent map review" and "smart health inspection", improve clearance efficiency through intelligent supervision mode, and create an efficient and comfortable travel experience for passengers.

      According to statistics, Sanya Airport will operate 35 international and regional routes by 2025, covering 26 key customer cities in Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Central Asia, and Europe.

      In the future, Sanya Airport will continue to expand its overseas market, planning to open round-trip routes from Sanya to Minsk, Kuala Lumpur, and other destinations.
