Transport Canada revokes restrictive measures against airlines in Chinese Mainland

Transport Canada announced on its website on the 28th local time that on October 24th, under the direction of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Transport Canada revoked restrictions such as "no more than six round-trip scheduled passenger flights from Chinese Mainland airlines to Canada every week" and "no direct passenger flights from Beijing to Canada" issued on February 3rd, 2022.

Starting from October 25, 2024, restrictions on China International Airlines, Capital Airlines, Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, and others will be removed.
